Welcome to Catamaran Charter Zanzibar | East African Ocean Adventures. By accessing or booking through our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Bookings & Payments

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid a day prior to departure.
Payments can be made in cash, credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods.
Prices are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise and may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

Failure to pay the balance before departure may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Our cancellation and refund terms are outlined in our Refund Policy, available on our website.
By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to those terms.

If we must cancel due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen operational issues, we will offer to reschedule, or issue a 50% refund of the amount paid.

4. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

Follow all instructions from the captain and crew.
Respect safety guidelines and onboard rules.
Declare any medical conditions or physical limitations prior to departure.
Be punctual for departure times; late arrivals may forfeit the trip without refund.
Use equipment responsibly; damages caused by negligence may incur replacement costs.

5. Safety & Weather

Safety is our top priority. The captain has full authority to change, delay, or cancel a trip due to weather or safety conditions.
In such cases, guests will be offered an alternative schedule or a 50% refund of the amount paid.

Guests should understand that weather conditions at sea can change rapidly, and itineraries are subject to adjustment.

6. Liability

Participation in activities such as swimming, snorkeling, kitesurfing, diving, or any other general boating activities, is at the guest’s own risk.
We are not liable for death, personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
Guests are encouraged to have personal travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal effects.
Guest are required to sign a liability waiver before charter.

7. Use of Website

By using our website, you agree not to:

Engage in any activity that may damage, disable, or impair the website.
Copy, distribute, or reuse any website content without written permission.
Use our website for any unlawful purpose.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website operation, though we strive to maintain accuracy and availability.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content—including text, photos, videos, and logos—is the property of Catamaran Charter Zanzibar | East African Ocean Adventures unless otherwise credited.
Content may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without our written consent.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
